Hi, I'm Rachel, a 20's something Kiwi who's been living in London for the last five years.

Welcome to 'Prezzies' - conceived out of my personal experiences, living in England - and trying to find, choose, and send (on time) - presents, for my family and friends back home.

I started off five odd years ago, buying presents in London, and sending them home by post or courier - that was time consuming and expensive! Web shopping seemed to promise a good solution, and the best option would be a web shop operated in New Zealand, that had a range of gifts for all occasions - and could therefore deliver, locally!

The only problem was that there didn't seem to be such a "one-stop" web site - sure there were a number of niche sites selling useful items - but I had to spend enormous amounts of time finding them, and trying to make choices. Secondly, most of them seemed to more geared towards exporting, rather than selling back home.

Many of my web shopping experiences since then have been dissapointing - a number of times I've paid for things like gift wrapping and a personal message or card, but although the gifts have always been delivered (eventually) the wrapping and cards etc haven't been taken care of. It spoils the pleasure of giving a bit, and to me this isn't acceptable!

So along with Dad and our NZ based company, we designed prezzies.co.nz as a new concept that's dedicated to 'remote' gift shoppers (like you and I) who need an efficient, reliable, and safe way of choosing gifts for friends and family back in New Zealand!

Our philosophy is simple - we will treat you as we'd expect to be treated ourselves!

We've established prezzies.co.nz with one objective - to provide you with a hassle free, New Zealand based, one stop "prezzie" shop - that cares about you, and those to whom you send prezzies!

We believe that we can do it better, and I guarantee to you that the gifts you order on prezzies.co.nz will be properly packaged, will arrive gift wrapped, inside a sturdy plain outer package - and if you've ordered a card to be included - it will be inside - with your gift.

We DON'T believe that you should have to worry about additional gift wrapping, gift card, and shipping charges either - so ALL our pricing includes these costs as well - the item price is the ONLY price that appears in your shopping cart - simple!

We've included a few other things as well - to make it more efficient for you to remember your family and friends back home - with prezzies!
