How are items priced on Prezzies.co.nz? Prezzies is about providing you with gift solutions - to save you time, stress, and make it easy to manage all your 'gift occasions' from far away! As such, items on prezzies.co.nz are generally priced at standard retail plus a share of freight and gift wrapping costs, plus gst (if the recipient of the prezzie is within New Zealand). When we can make additional savings on items, we'll pass these on!
It's worth noting that if you're comparison shopping, you need to make sure that you're comparing 'apples with apples' - do the other prices include courier costs, gift wrapping costs, gst etc? Do they charge extra for a gift card? ^ top
How do I find that special prezzie? When you know what you're looking for, type in some keywords in the search box located at the top left of every page and click the search button.
If you'd just prefer to 'browse' - looking for ideas or inspiration - we've provided TWO ways to achieve this:
One way is to use the 'Occasion' buttons running along the top – it helps you focus in on relevant prezzies for the particular occasion you're trying to buy for.
The other is to browse by 'Department' – when you have a 'category' of prezzie in mind, it helps you find the right item - quickly - just select the relevant department.

How can I be sure if an item is right for a prezzie? Everything on prezzies.co.nz has been given to someone, as a gift, at some time or other - and our range of prezzies is deliberately wide to try and ensure that there's a 'prezzie' that's suitable for any occasion.
If you use the 'Occasion' menu, you'll generally be able to focus in on a group of items, any of which might suit the person and occasion you're gift shopping for!
By clicking on any item, you bring up it's description/features page - giving further details that'll help you decide if it's suitable. If YES, just click the red 'Add to cart' button. If you're unsure, you might want to click on the blue 'Add to Maybe list' button - that way you can easily find it later if you decide it is right!

Think of the shopping cart as an online version of a supermarket shopping cart/trolley. It's where you put the items you've chosen - until you're ready to purchase.
You aren't committed to buying any item in the shopping trolley at the supermarket, until you get to the 'checkout' and the item goes through the til.
It's the same with Prezzies shopping cart - you can access it at any time to see what you've chosen so far by clicking the 'shopping cart' link located at the top of each page (only visible after an item has been added) and it's only when you go to 'check out' that you need to make final decisions! ^ top
How do I add items to my cart? Each time you see a prezzie that you'd like to purchase, simply click the 'add to cart' button. When you do that - it pays to use the PrezzieNote feature as well - to add a note about who the item is for – great for keeping track of things when buying multiple prezzies. You can access your shopping cart at any time by clicking the 'shopping cart' link at the top of each page (only visible after an item has been added). ^ top
What if I want to save prezzie ideas but not put them in my shopping cart? You can add prezzies to your 'Maybe's List'. A 'Maybe's List' is a way for you to remember items you may wish to purchase at a later date – you can even set up an email reminder to make sure you don't forget. ^ top
How can I manage all the occasions that I need to buy for? Yes, our PrezziePlanna was designed to allow you to schedule all the occasions and dates that are important to you. PrezziePlanna allows you to record all those special people and their dates/events, and have yourself 'auto-emailed' with a reminder in good time to act!

How do I pay when finished shopping? When you've finished shopping and are ready to complete your order, just click the "complete shopping" button from the 'shopping cart' page.

What are the gift-wrapping options? We use quality, plain coloured, gift-wrapping that provides a sophisticated look while suiting all occasions. You simply choose the particular colour you'd like! The gift-wrapped prezzies is dispatched to your recipient in a plain, strong, cardboard 'outer'. ^ top
How can I shop faster on prezzies.co.nz? The fastest way to shop at prezzies.co.nz is by using the 'search' option. You can enter keywords in the search box on any page at prezzies.co.nz. From here you can quickly add items to your 'shopping cart'.
You don't have to be a member to do shopping with prezzies.co.nz – we find sites that make you join BEFORE making a purchase ANNOYING! – Sometimes you just want to get something sent as quickly and easily as possible with no fuss.

Why should I give you my email address? When you place an order with prezzies.co.nz, we need to be able to confirm that we have received your order and also let you know your items have been delivered. Can I use a PO Box as the delivery destination? We are committed to making sure that your gift reaches the right person as quickly as possible. We need to deliver to a home or work address where someone can sign for the delivery. Therefore we don't deliver to a PO Box address. ^ top
What if the recipient for my prezzie isn't in when the courier calls? Your gift will not be left – the Courier will leave a contact card and your recipient can phone and organize a time when they will be home, or uplift their gift from the depot. ^ top
What methods of payment can I use? For online shopping at prezzies.co.nz, we accept Visa and Mastercard. We will also accept a Telegraphic Transfer or Bank Draft by pre-arrangement. We are unable to accept any other forms of payment at this time, including Eftpos, cheques or cash on delivery. ^ top
What if I don't want to give my credit card details on the Internet? Can I order by phone? No worries. Please call our Order Team on 0064 3 3799520. Be sure to have details of what item you want to order, where you would like the item to be delivered, and your credit card details handy when you call. You can contact us during the following hours;

How safe is it to give you my credit card details? Completely safe. When you enter your credit card details to complete a purchase, you are connected to a purpose-built secure page operating under https which uses advanced encryption to make your information unreadable as it is transmitted over the internet. The secure page we use carries a Thawte Authentication Certificate. ^ top
How can I check that my transaction will be completely secure? If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape to view prezzies.co.nz, there are two ways of verifying the privacy of your transaction. When you are on a page that asks you to enter credit card details, check for the following to be sure your transaction is secure: A security icon (a key or a lock) will appear on your screen, and the address of the document you are accessing begins with https:// which means secure hypertext transfer protocol. ^ top
How much do you charge for delivery? That's the great thing bout prezzies, there are no extra charges for delivery. The item price on prezzies.co.nz is the only amount you pay – there are no additional charges for delivery or gift wrapping, we will even include a FREE gift card which can be personalized by you. It's that easy! ^ top
How long does it take for my prezzie to be delivered? We aim to deliver within four working days (Monday to Friday) from receiving your order, however there may be times when certain items take a little longer. If this happens, you will receive an email to advise of any expected delay.
I've forgotten my user login and/or password. Can you help? No worries. Click the "Join/Login" link at the top of the page – just below the Kiwi. This will take you to the login page where you can click the "Forgot your password" link. Just enter your email address and your details will be automatically sent to your email account – this service is available any time day or night - so you'll get a prompt reply. ^ top
How can I tell if my order has gone through successfully? Once you have completed all required details you should receive a confirmation message on screen. This tells you that we have received your order. If there is a problem with processing your order such as a field left blank or an incorrect card number you will be notified straight away. You'll also receive an automated email confirming that your order has been received successfully if you follow the link on the 'completed' page. ^ top
